Micheline Barber is a beauty expert, educator and owner of M Salon 1.  She has worked in the beauty industry for over twenty years embarking upon her career as a stylist attending Dudley’s Cosmetology University in Greensboro, NC. To perfect her craft, she furthered her studies at KARG, Vidal Sassoon, and numerous educational workshops throughout the United States. As senior beauty coordinator with MPACT BEAUTY, Micheline trains licensed cosmetologists and salons about the latest cutting and coloring techniques. Her training takes her throughout the southeastern portion of the United States as far south as Florida, Georgia and up to the Baltimore, D.C. area nationally.  She has taught at international venues such as Brazil and Martinique. Micheline has also been featured in local and national news publications such as Black Hair Sophisticate, Modern Salon and Universal Salon Magazine. Other accomplishments that she and the stylists at M Salon 1 have received include the Steve Harvey “Hoodie Award” for Best Beauty Salon for three consecutive years and have been featured on “Split Ends”, a Bravo’s reality TV series.
